We can qualify you long distance!
Long Distance qualification is available only in areas where a certified Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. evaluator is not available.

To qualify long distance for membership with The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. as a therapy dog/handler team you must meet the following requirements:

  • A copy of your dog’s AKC Canine Good Citizen® Award certificate.

If you’re not familiar with this title you can look at the AKC’s website: www.AKC.org and search for the Canine Good Citizen page.

  • Two written professional references (trainer, groomer, veterinarian, the mailman).

  • A reference from a facility where you have begun working with your dog as a therapy dog.

Mail, fax or email the above items to our offices and we will review the qualifications.
Please include your name, address, telephone number (s), and email address.

After you are certified long distance you may register for membership with The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc.
