Time:  Some evenings, some weekends

Event Description:  Make Sit Happen, LLC. offers Therapy Dog/Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes year round in Hillsborough, NJ!!  The class is 5 weeks of instruction (plus an additional week for the test) to prepare you and your dog to take both the Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog test as well as the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. You can learn more about both organizations and their tests by visiting: www.Golden-Dogs.org and www.AKC.org/CGC. This class assumes that you already have achieved a certain amount of reliability with Basic Obedience commands. We will improve your dogs skills with those commands as well as get your dog familiar with wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches and different people, noises, etc. We also explain what you can expect on Therapy Visits, how to get started, and anything else you can think to ask!  Week #6 will be the actual tests - and test dates will be determined with classs participants before scheduling.
